1856Nikola was born July 10th, 1856 in the Austrian Empire.

1884Nikola immigrated to the U.S.

1887Tesla developed an induction motor that ran on alternating current. After he patented it, he
used that patent money to pursure his passions.

1891Tesla became a naturalized citizen of the U.S. and invented the Tesla Coil. It is used to
produce high-voltage, low-current, high-frequency alternating-current electricity.

1893Tesla patented the Tesla electro-mechanical oscilliator. A steam powered electrc generator.

1895Tesla, along with Edward Dean Adams, founded the Nikola Tesla Company. This was to
market Nikola's previous and new inventions/patents.

1895A fire burns down the whole building that Tesla's lab was in.

1896From here on Nikola Tesla spends most of his time developing wireless power.

1899Tesla set up an experimental station at high altitude in Colorado Springs.

1902Tesla finished contruction of the Wardenclyffe Tower on Long Island, NY. Here he hoped
to demonstrate wireless transmissions of electrical energy across the atlantic.

1906Nikola demonstrates a 200 horsepower, bladeless turbine.

1913Nikola Tesla offcially invents the Tesla Turbine.

1943January 7th, 1943 Nikola Tesla dies at the age of 86.
